T H E F O U N D E R ʼ S L E T T E R Reflection on our impact in 2025 A message from the In 2024, we described our mission as “laying the foundations.” In 2025, we began raising the pillars that will uphold CVEFʼs impact for decades to come. We forged strategic partnerships with international NGOs such as UNICEF and UNHCR, collaborated with governmental institutions, and engaged with key economic actors. Through these efforts, we positively impacted over 170 children and collaborated with more than 20 educators, all supported by a committed team of over 10 volunteers. - Each of these actions aligns with our core mission: to make education accessible for all children in Congo Brazzaville, empower educators through training and resources, and build strategic alliances to support both goals. In 2025, we celebrated the achievements of top students, supported orphaned children, developed a bilingual childrenʼs book, My First Words in English, and raised awareness about the ongoing cholera epidemic. Most importantly, we were on the ground; meeting, listening to, and supporting the educators who shape the next generation. Looking ahead to 2026, we will launch new digital platforms to provide children and educators with access to our national education - program. We will print and distribute My First Words in English across schools, equip classrooms in Pointe Noire with benches, and close - the year with a national summit to discuss the critical challenges facing education in Congo Brazzaville. I am deeply excited about what we are building together. On behalf of everyone at CVEF, I extend my heartfelt thanks to all our supporters and especially to our corporate partners La Cerise and Globaline, whose generous contributions have helped bring this mission to life. With gratitude and determination, Thierry Mbemba Founder & Chairman, CVEF
V P & H E A D O F C O N G O - Letter from the Vice President and Head of Congo Local leadership and community Brazzaville accountability
In 2025, our commitment deepened in response to ongoing challenges within Congoʼs education system: unequal access, a shortage of teaching materials, the need for continuous teacher training, and increasing vulnerability among disadvantaged children. We addressed these issues through meaningful action: distributing school kits to four orphanages, organising a pedagogy competition - with digital tool awards, publishing My First Words in English, and recognising top performing pupils in three public schools. We also led educational awareness campaigns in response to the cholera outbreak and launched a fundraising initiative to rehabilitate school toilets. These efforts improved access to learning resources, strengthened teacher motivation, and fostered social cohesion through inclusive, community-based initiatives. — Our impact was made possible thanks to strong partnerships with national bodies such as INRAP and the DGJ, international organisations including UNICEF and UNHCR, local schools, and our private sector partner Globaline. Throughout, we maintained a governance approach rooted in transparency, accountability, and active participation. Looking ahead to 2026, we aim to extend our educational programmes to new areas, deepen strategic partnerships, strengthen our monitoring and evaluation systems, and place greater emphasis on innovation and digital learning. Together, we are building an inclusive, - equitable, and lasting future for every child in Congo Brazzaville. Prince Merveilleux NSANA NSAYI - Vice President & Head of Congo Brazzaville
O P E R AT I O N S & F U N D R A I S I N G A review from our Head of Operations and Fundraising Programme delivery on the ground In 2025, Cornish Views Education Foundation strengthened its commitment to educational excellence by awarding certificates and school kits to pupils at Kinsoundi, Kingouari, and Angola Libre primary schools. This initiative aimed to celebrate academic achievement, motivate pupils, and ease financial pressures on families by providing essential school supplies. It created a positive atmosphere around learning and reinforced teacher engagement. - Recognising the link between health and education, CVEF also launched a school based awareness campaign on cholera prevention. Through educational sessions and hygiene promotion, children and their families were equipped with knowledge to reduce infection risks, helping create safer, healthier school environments. In a spirit of solidarity, CVEF supported over 150 orphaned children with school supplies and — other essentials ahead of the new school year ensuring that vulnerable learners could continue their education with dignity. Supporting educators with To enhance teaching quality, CVEF organised a pedagogy competition to evaluate and recognition and tools encourage innovation and excellence among educators. This initiative reaffirmed our belief Pedagogy competition prize and certificates that strong teacher development is key to improving student performance long-term. The year concluded with an educational lunch, uniting educators, partners, and beneficiaries. The event featured the official launch of My First Words in English, a new learning tool for early English education. CVEF also awarded a digital device to the competition winner and provided a computer to a school headteacher, promoting digital integration in school management and teaching. Emmanuel Wesley Samba Head of Operations and Fundraising, CVEF
