Trustees of the charity receive no payments or financial incentive for being a trustee, chair or member. The charity does employ veterinary and support staff necessary to allow it to operate effectively 24 hours a day without any delays to potentially life saving timescales for patients as it would be impossible, impractical and detrimental to rely solely on volunteers due to the nature of and schedule of the work needed to provide lifesaving surgery, treatment and supervised recovery as well as sanctuary.
