Coptic Kids World

CKW Annual Report 2024

This report documents the activities of CKW in the year ending 15/12/2024. CKW exists to serve children, helping them to grow in the Christian faith and the traditions of the Coptic Orthodox Church. The charity is managed collectively by the Trustees, as listed in the Coptic Kids World entry in the Register of Charities (COPTIC KIDS WORLD - 1206396) and set out in the governing documents of the charity.

CKW serves children by creating print children’s picture books and publishing videos on YouTube. The content is we create is centred on the Christian faith and the lives of Christian saints. In 2024, we released two new videos on YouTube:

• St Nicholas (English)

• Abouna Bishoy Kamel (English)

We Also produced Arabic versions of seven of our videos from the previous year:

• Abouna Bishoy Kamel (Arabic)

• The Greatest Love Story, Episodes 1-6 (Holy Week Series, Arabic)

We published two print children’s picture books:

• “My First Book of Hours”

• “The Joy of Repentance and Confession”

The year 2024 also saw the launch of our First Annual Family Day, held at Bluecoat Wollaton Academy in Nottingham. The primary aim of the event was to raise awareness of our work. The event was a huge success, being attended by almost 200 children and adults. The event comfortably “broke even” and even raised a nominal amount for the charity.
