## **Structure, Governance and Management**

The BPR Foundation is a UK registered charity governed by its constitution. Trustees are appointed following an interview process, and all trustee appointments must be approved by the existing trustees.

Decisions are made collectively by the trustees. The charity operates by receiving requests for funding from BPR FC for specific charitable purposes that align with the Foundation’s objectives. Trustees consider each request and decide whether the Foundation can and will provide funding.

## **Objects**

The promotion of participation in healthy recreation, in particular for young people, by the provision of facilities for the playing of football.

## **Activities and Achievements**

During the reporting period, the Foundation supported BPR FC, a grassroots football club working with young people in South London.

The Foundation provided financial support and equipment, including club tracksuits, to support participation and promote a sense of pride and belonging among young people. BPR FC operates a 'No Child Left Behind' policy, ensuring that a family’s financial circumstances never prevent a young person from taking part.

Total charitable expenditure on these activities during the period was £4,500. An additional £75 was spent on marketing to support awareness of the Foundation’s work.

## **Public Benefit**

The trustees confirm that they have complied with their duty to have due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit.

The Foundation’s activities provide public benefit by promoting physical health, wellbeing and social inclusion among young people, and by removing financial barriers to participation in organised sport.

## **Plans for the Future**

The trustees intend to continue supporting BPR FC and similar initiatives that promote participation in football for young people, particularly where financial barriers exist.
