The trustees who served during the period and up to the date of this report are set out on page 1. In submitting their report and the financial statements for the period ended 31 March 2025, the trustees have adopted the provisions of The Charities Act 2011 in preparing the Annual Report and financial statements of the charity. ## **Structure, governance and management** Breakout Ministries is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) governed by constitution. The trustees of Breakout Ministries are appointed by the Trustees in accordance with our constitution. ## **Objectives and activities** The objectives of Breakout Ministries are: ‘TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, IN, PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THE UK, THROUGH THE DELIVERY OF SPORTS AND EDUCATIONAL CAMPS WITH A CHRISTIAN ETHOS FOR YOUNG PERSONS TO SUPPORT THEIR ENGAGEMENT WITH CHRISTIANITY AND TO ENCOURAGE THEIR MORAL AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE ADULTS.’ ## **Public benefit statement** The charity complies with the public benefit requirement through its charitable objectives. The trustees confirm that they have referred to the guidance contained in the Charity Commission’s general guidance on public benefit when reviewing the charity’s aims and objectives and in planning future activities. ## **Achievements and performance** Breakout Ministries has received £47,181 in the fourteen months ending 31 March 2025. The trustees have met **6** times this period. Breakout Ministries has held nine camps across various churches, including Falmouth L&L, BYP, Journey Church, Story Church, Freedom Church, and Hope Church. These camps have directly impacted 652 people, with 222 young people attending and hearing the Gospel. The ripple effect has been astounding: - 77% of churches saw new follow-up ministries emerge as a result of their camps. - 80% of those ministries remained active six months later. - 30% of campers transitioned into follow-up ministries after their initial camp experience. - 75% of those attendees continued to engage in ministry beyond the six-month mark. - 88% of churches have already committed to hosting another camp. - 66% of churches reported that individuals came to Christ through their camp experiences. - Camps have grown by 66% from 2024 to 2025, proving an increasing hunger for these life-changing - experiences. ## **Financial review** Total unrestricted fund receipts for 2025 were £47,181. ## _**Reserves policy**_ It is the policy of Breakout Ministries to maintain a balance of unrestricted funds when available to meet unforeseen situations. 2 Reserves may be held in a separate deposit account to enable the charity to benefit from accrued interest. ## **Volunteers** Our thanks go to all those who have served Breakout Ministries this year and who are committed to the work ahead. I report in respect of my examination of the charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. ## **Independent examiner’s statement** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: - the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or - the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or - the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
