## **Charity Overview** 

Friends of APSOL (FoAPSOL) is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) established to support the educational and community life of the Anglo Portuguese School of London. The charity enhances the learning environment by funding initiatives, equipment, and events that benefit pupils and foster community engagement. 

## **Activities and Achievements** 

In the period 1 January-31 August 2024, Friends of APSOL organised two key fundraising events. These events brought together the school community and successfully raised funds to support the charity’s educational mission. Total income for the year was £5,373.56, with a net profit of £4,232.55 after event costs.

Accounts were prepared on a receipts and payments basis. All income is held in the charity’s designated account and managed by the trustees. 



## **Governance and Trustees** 

Friends of APSOL is managed by a volunteer board of trustees, responsible for ensuring good governance and compliance with charity law. Trustees for the reporting period were:

- Shikha Patel 

- Andrei Bunescu 

The constitution was adopted in November 2023, and the charity was formally registered on 2 January 2024. Trustee meetings were held regularly throughout the year.
