Producing 2 large murals at a local
community centre in Halifax for disabled
young people. The murals were based
on the themes of positivity and identity,
reflecting empowering imagery related to
disability and equality.
Young volunteers from the LGBTQIA+
community took part in all aspects of the
project and were mentored in the skills of
Youth Arts.

Developing and preparing for a live
performance taking place at Cartwright
Hall in Bradford as part of an LGBTQIA+
showcase called TRANSFORM. The
project ran with young people from the
LGBTQIA+ community, on issues
reflecting their community and producing

The production of 2 large murals, which
have been designed and created by
LGBTQIA+ young people, which has
involved them being involved in:
mentoring, learning skills (social and
artistic), gaining confidence, been safely
supported, working as part of a team and
independently. These pieces of work
were a huge achievement for all who
were involved and the completed piece
of work enhanced a previously dull and
inspiring space into a vibrant and
welcoming environment.

The production of a piece of Live Art
which was showcased at CartWright Hall
in Bradford was a huge step up for us as
an organisation. We partnered with
Museums and Galleries in Bradford and
successfully performed an important and
relevant piece of work as part of the City
of Culture 2025, THIS IS ME exhibition.
This project has allowed us to develop
new relationships with partners which will

The achievement of our new partnership work
with Bradford Galleries and Museums and the
piece of live art that was performed, has been an
unexpected addition to our work. This is because
we hadn’t planned to do this piece of work. We
were contacted by the head of Bradford and
Museums who had heard about our previous
work and wanted to work with us, which has been
huge as part of our work and our future
development. This new partnership will impact
greatly on the young people and communities we
will be able to connect and work with, in a
