|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|During this accounting period, the Foundation:<br>-<br>started working in a new school, working<br>weekly with all year 5 children<br>-<br>continued to work successfully with the<br>other school where it delivers music<br>lessons to all students (i.e. years 3, 4 5<br>and 6<br>-<br>is providing music sessions to nearly 150<br>children each week, of which over 70%<br>qualify for pupil premium payments<br>-<br>giving children access to weekly lessons<br>in a choice of 12 instruments.<br>Leaders of the schools in which the Foundation<br>works report an increase in engagement with<br>school generally and increased self-confidence<br>and engagement in lessons from pupils attending<br>music sessions and a massive increase in<br>parental engagement with the schools.<br>Participants and their parents have reported<br>positive impacts including loving music lessons,<br>significant increases in their children’s confidence<br>and desire to attend school.|

|Achievements against<br>objectives set|Para 1.41||The Foundation’s objectives for this year were in<br>two main areas:<br>Programme Delivery<br>The Foundation continued its programme in St<br>Michael’s school throughout this period with<br>sustained pupil engagement.  Delivery of our<br>programme in St Andrew’s continued for the<br>academic year 2024/5 however did not restart in<br>September 2025 due to change in the senior<br>leadership team at this school.<br>We started programme delivery in Roundhill|





||||School from October 2025 which launched<br>applying learnings from the St Michael’s<br>programme delivery such as targeting instrument<br>choice for pupils, deploying successful teaching<br>and behaviour management strategies and<br>interactions with school teaching staff.<br>Supporting children with access to music after<br>primary school remains an objective.  During this<br>period we began investigating collaboration with<br>a local youth club as a way to achieve this<br>objective.  This remains an objective that the<br>Foundation is working towards.<br>Financial stability<br>As a result of significant time investment in<br>fundraising, including securing a monthly<br>donation from the Royal Crescent Committee<br>and renewed support from the Coral Samuel<br>Trust for a second year, we ended this period<br>with a buffer of cash in the bank exceeding our<br>objective of holding a 3 month running costs<br>buffer and a high level of confidence that our<br>programme (at the current extent of delivery) is<br>fully funded for the academic year 2025/26.<br>Financial stability for the academic year<br>2026/2027 and beyond remains an objective.|
