enable the Foundation’s impact to be much more

started working in a new school, working
weekly with all year 5 children

continued to work successfully with the
other school where it delivers music
lessons to all students (i.e. years 3, 4 5
and 6

is providing music sessions to nearly 150
children each week, of which over 70%
qualify for pupil premium payments

giving children access to weekly lessons
in a choice of 12 instruments.
Leaders of the schools in which the Foundation
works report an increase in engagement with
school generally and increased self-confidence
and engagement in lessons from pupils attending
music sessions and a massive increase in
parental engagement with the schools.
Participants and their parents have reported
positive impacts including loving music lessons,
significant increases in their children’s confidence
and desire to attend school.|

|Achievements against
objectives set|Para 1.41||The Foundation’s objectives for this year were in
two main areas:
Programme Delivery
The Foundation continued its programme in St
Michael’s school throughout this period with
sustained pupil engagement. Delivery of our
programme in St Andrew’s continued for the
academic year 2024/5 however did not restart in
September 2025 due to change in the senior
leadership team at this school.
We started programme delivery in Roundhill|
||||School from October 2025 which launched
applying learnings from the St Michael’s
programme delivery such as targeting instrument
choice for pupils, deploying successful teaching
and behaviour management strategies and
interactions with school teaching staff.
Supporting children with access to music after
primary school remains an objective. During this
period we began investigating collaboration with
a local youth club as a way to achieve this
objective. This remains an objective that the
Foundation is working towards.
Financial stability
As a result of significant time investment in
fundraising, including securing a monthly
donation from the Royal Crescent Committee
and renewed support from the Coral Samuel
Trust for a second year, we ended this period
with a buffer of cash in the bank exceeding our
objective of holding a 3 month running costs
buffer and a high level of confidence that our
programme (at the current extent of delivery) is
fully funded for the academic year 2025/26.
Financial stability for the academic year
2026/2027 and beyond remains an objective.|

point which will cause a solvency issue for the

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the charities act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:

It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The
procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in in audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair' view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below,

In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
1. which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect, the requirements to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act have not been met; or
2. to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
