Section D                      Achievements and performance **Summary of the main Achievements and Performance achievements of the charity** During the year, the trustees are pleased to report significant progress in **during the year** advancing the charitable objects of the South Wales Community Academy. The charity continued to focus on supporting disadvantaged families, improving educational outcomes, and promoting lifelong learning within the local and wider community. **Educational Support for Disadvantaged Families** The charity delivered regular English and Mathematics sessions for ‑ children and young people from low income and deprived households. These after ‑ school lessons were held from 5pm to 7pm, providing a structured and supportive environment outside normal school hours. Learners benefited from small ‑ group teaching, targeted intervention, and consistent encouragement, helping them build confidence and improve academic performance. **Advancing Education in English and Mathematics** ‑ The Academy provided GCSE focused support aligned with the school curriculum. Pupils received help with exam preparation, revision techniques, and core subject knowledge. These sessions ensured that learners who lacked access to private tuition or additional school support could still achieve strong educational outcomes. **Lifelong Learning and Personal Development** Adults and older learners participated in sessions designed to improve literacy, numeracy, and general learning skills. These activities supported personal development, increased independence, and helped individuals re ‑ engage with education at their own pace. **Support for Further and Higher Education** The charity offered guidance and mentoring to learners progressing to college, apprenticeships, or university. This included help with applications, personal statements, and understanding available pathways. I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **DD / MM / YYYY** . 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
