The Thalia-Beau Foundation is a charity set up in memory of our beloved child Thalia Beau. Thalia died aged five whilst waiting for a heart and lung transplant.Trustees are Lynn Utting, Jacqueline Haythorne, Christine Johnson and Charlotte Haythorne; all of us give our time freely and meet regularly to discuss future plans
As a charity we aim to support families who find themselves in a similar position to us. We aim to do this by: gifts to the local hospice, local and regional hospital hospitals and care packages for ill children and their siblings.
The charity is in its formative stage but we intend to run a summer fayre to raise funds for the above and have already done something similar at Christmas: accounts of these will appear in next year’s TAR.
The numbers in the accounts are minimal for the year requested and result from other kind people fundraising on behalf on the charity.
