In the charity'8 fonnalion period efforts have been locused on setting up
the operation of Ihe charity, including appointing trustees, and running
pilot coachlng 8e8810n.
The Foundation was officially18unched post financlal year end, and much
of the work up lo the year end was towards Ihe successful initial launch
of the charity on social media, and in ensunng th8 charity w88 in a
position lo commence training sessions.
During this period, the Trustees have complied with their duty lo have
due regard lo the guidance on public benefit published by the Charity
Commission in exercising their powers and duties.

achievements of the charity
during the year
Established in De¢ernber 2023, our initial focus has been on setting up
robust govemance structures. appointing our first board, and preparing to
launch Ihe Foundation. Our objective for this founding year was to
establish a secure foundation froTn which to provide inclusive and
accessible facilities and coaches for gids and young women in football.
We are pleased to report that we have successfully registered with the
Chanty Commission and laid the groundwofk for our long-tem
objectives.

The Rachel Yankey Foundation aims lo maintain a general reserve of
unrestricted funds sufficient to meet its financial, legal and moral
obligations to it5 service users, employees and volunteers and to all
relevant authorities. To this end we aim to hold a minimum of 3 months
