REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES

FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2024

The Trustees have pleasure in submitting the Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024.

Objects of the charity

The charity, which is a church, is governed by a Constitution and Church Handbook and is registered as a charitable incorporated organisation. The charity’s principle objective, as set out in its governing documents, is the advancement of the Christian faith.

The charity seeks to demonstrate the Christian faith by providing opportunities for gathering together weekly to worship our God and by organising community events in the area of Lewes, East Sussex.

Review of the charity’s main activities and achievements

The charity has not operated during the year because the transfer to it of the assets of the unincorporated charity known as ‘Chailey Free Church’ has not yet taken place.

Before the transfer can take place, it is necessary for the permissions from the Charity Commission to have been received and for the Land Registry to complete the property transfer.

Financial Review

The charity has not had any transactions during the year so that no accounts can be prepared.
