Aims and Objectives
With the amal(Taination of Canon Street Church {Canon St) and Taunton Family Church (TFC), into New Creation Church

transition.
Sim Cracknell ISC} and Richard Shaw (RS) Cowlead NCC with the help of the Trustees and Leadership teams.
Trustees, with agreement of Canon St congregation, and with the help of Howard Mathers, have instructed Anthony Collins
legal fim in the transfer of assets to NCC. This has noi yet been completed.
The Trustees of the TFC and NCC have amalgamated their experience and knowledge to foTm the new teatn of TTU5tee5 of
the CIO NCC Charity.
A large part of our focus this year has been on establishing sound Leadership and Trllstees t&gms, encoiiraging cohesion and
partieipation.
Both TFC and CSC bank accounts were mergFed into one NCC account, brinLFinu all the ￿ndS in to one central point. We
also saw the NCC balance sheet strengthen through the year, due to generous giving from our congregation.
Canon Steet Church s previous Objective5 and Activitie5 are now being achieved through NCC, and the goal is to
discontinue Canon Si and TFC charities in the coming vear.
As is seen in the Financial Report, most of the giving is now through NCC, who have also taken on all costs previously
serviced by Canon St finances.
Ruth Tancock continued in her role a5 church treasurer and creator of the monthly manauement accounts, with analytical
breakdown of income and expenditure, which was then presented to the Trustees of NCC.
Throughout 202314 New. Creation Churcl) i)ow incorporatit)g the cl)urch meimbers from Taunton Family Church and Canot)
Street Church, has continued in its vision to reach oiit to the community with the Gospel and support where possible the
under privilegyed and needy.
The Iransition for NCC into a CIO was reasonably seamless, and was administered with professionalism and accuracy.
During the year the church held a numbeT of outreach activities, includin¥ a Chrislma5 and Easter adults and children's
events.
Also, during the summer, the church held a number of outreaeh initiatives in the local parks as part of the church's visiot) to
reach the community.
Life Groiips formed a behind the scenes fainily awareness and prayer support activity which once abFain wa5 focused on
community and outreach for the lost.
