The Trustees present their report and the independently examined financial statements for the year ended 12 October 2024.
Activities and Review
Non Prof-Eat is committed to the relief of unemployment and the advancement of education and career development for the public benefit. The organisation provides free information, advice, and support to individuals in employment transition, focusing on those who are unemployed or at risk of unemployment.
During the year, the charity’s core activities included:

Providing targeted career guidance and skills development workshops.

Assisting beneficiaries in accessing training and educational opportunities.

Supporting vulnerable groups such as single parents, persons with disabilities, and individuals facing multiple barriers to employment.

Delivering information sessions on CV writing, interview preparation, and digital literacy.
Organisation
Non Prof-Eat is a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. Its strategic direction is set by the Trustees, with operational activities coordinated by volunteers and qualified service providers.
Beneficiary Selection and Assessment
Beneficiaries are identified through an open application process supported by outreach activities in the community. Applications are assessed against criteria including employment status, financial need, skills gaps, and vulnerability. Needs assessments involve document verification, one-to-one interviews, and risk evaluations to ensure tailored support.
Ensuring Qualified Service Delivery
The charity ensures all services are delivered by suitably qualified individuals. This is achieved through clear role specifications, a robust recruitment process, professional development programmes, and ongoing supervision.
Risk Management
The Trustees have assessed risks in relation to financial sustainability, operational delivery, and safeguarding, and have implemented mitigation strategies. Novelty Business Solution provides ongoing consultancy to support compliance and governance.
Reserves and Investments
The Trustees aim to hold cash reserves equivalent to 15% of annual turnover to ensure operational resilience.
Success Evaluation
Impact is measured through employment outcomes, educational attainment, skills development progress, beneficiary satisfaction, and stakeholder feedback. The charity maintains a continuous improvement process informed by these evaluations.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER’S REPORT
We report on the accounts of Non Prof-Eat for the year ended 12 October 2024.
Respective responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner
As the charity’s trustees, you are responsible for preparing the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act 2011. Our responsibility is to examine the accounts under section 145 of the Act.
Basis of Independent Examiner’s Report
Our examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records and a comparison of the accounts with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures.
Independent Examiner’s Statement
In connection with our examination, no matters have come to our attention:

which give us reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements:

a) to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the Act; and

b) to prepare accounts which agree with the accounting records and comply with the requirements of the Act have not been met; or

to which, in our opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
