The Guthrum-Aethelstan Heritage Group (GAHG) currently has four
trustees and a non-trustee treasurer. GAHG maintains a charty
business bank account. The trustees and treasurer meet
approximately monthly. GAHG maintains an email list for its
neV￿letter and other announcements of approximately 50 people,
mostly local to Hadleigh. Newsletter subscribers are those
interested in Guthrurn, local history, and the work of the group" they
do not undertake or organise the work of the group themselves.

The Guihrum-Aethelstan Heritage Group CIO is for the
advancenient of education of the public in the subject of Viking
history by educating the public about the life of King Guthrum and
the local tradition and heritage of the link between Hadleigh Suffolk
and King Guthrum. In particular bLrt not exclusively by the provision
of lectures. newsletters. exhibitions. town trails and work with local
schools.

A Business Communty Current Account was opened with Metro Bank on
13th November 2024 in the name of King Guthrum Group.

during the year
The following four Trustees were appointed on or before registration.
Huw Roberts (Chair). Susan Andrews,. Hilary Ferry., Kathryn Grandon.
Roger Young was appointed Treasurer on 8th January 2025.
Public liabilrty Insuran￿ was obtained for the 12 months from August
2024.
The group publishes a quartarty newslétter, sent to those sign up to
re￿1ve rt (apwoximately 50 peopl8).
A fundraising exercise trtkd "The Old Hadlewh Picture Shovr was
delivered in four parts at the Ansell Centre. Hadleigh. The Yhe Old
Hadleigh Picture sho￿ presentatsons were held in September and
October 2024 and March and May 2025 and atterKled by approximately
800 peop￿.
Prior to these events the organk8ation had no funts.
The group has pyoduced an illustrated booklet ('In Search Of Guthrum,)
summarising the historical evKlenc£ for GLrthrum's link to Hadleigh.
The group has also woduced a leafiet outlining rts work and objectives,
contact details, etc.
