The Trustees met formally seven times during this financial period. Each time they were joined by the Managing Editor who is not a Trustee but who manages the operations of the charity on a day-to-day basis and, in particular organising and editing Truth magazine.

The primary risks to the charity are reputational and financial. Reputational risk, in particular relating to the content of Truth Magazine and associated social media posts are managed in two ways: firstly, Trustees have a frequent dialogue with the Managing Editor about forthcoming content of the magazine to assess if any topics, for example around anxiety, relationships or addiction would need to be carefully managed; secondly, the Trustees maintain a checklist of items which is consulted during the process of developing an issue of the magazine.

The charity published Issue 9 of Truth magazine in July 2024. This was promoted at the Focus and Orchard Women Christian events during the year as well as through Instagram and personal contacts. 100 copies of the magazine were given to vulnerable women in the West Midlands. The charity also began developing content for Issue 10 of Truth magazine.
The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

Section D Achievements and performance
This was the first year of operation for the charity, having taken over the Summary of the main publication of Truth magazine from Rebel Hearts Rebel Girls Ltd. In achievements of the charity addition to the publication of Issue 9, its promotion at prominent events during the year and the development of Issue 10, the charity secured funding from two charitable trusts and developed its strategy to include vulnerable women in the target audience.
