The Trustees of Clinical Human Factors Group present their report for year ending 31st March 2025.
Patron
Sir Ian Kennedy QC, Emeritus Professor of Health, Law, Ethics and Policy at University College London agreed to become Patron of the Charity in February 2021. Sir Ian has a keen interest in public health and a strong track record of supporting measures to improve the safety of healthcare in the UK. He founded the Centre of Medical Laws and Ethics in 1978, chaired the Bristol Childrens’ Heart Surgery inquiry 1998-2001 and was subsequently appointed Chair of the Healthcare Commission on its foundation in 2003.
Founder
Martin Bromiley OBE, an airline pilot and human factors trainer whose wife died following a routine operation. A report into her death revealed multiple human factors failings.

The Clinical Human Factors Group is established as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
For the year 1[st] April 2024 – 31[st] March 2025 this organisation has not been active at all. This CIO has declared nil income and nil expenditure for said year 1[st] April 2024 – 31[st] March 2025.
It is the trustees intention that this CIO will receive funds and become active in the year 1[st] April 2025 – 31[st] March 2026
