**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY CONTRIBUTING TOWARDS THE REDUCTION IN SUFFERING CAUSED BY PARKINSON’S DISEASE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, EDUCATION AND SUPPORT TO ADDRESS THE VARIOUS ISSUES THOSE SUFFERING FROM PARKINSON’S DISEASE MAY FACE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN AFRICA.

**Activities:** The Deacon Foundation has been established specifically to provide an efficient mechanism to collect and account for funds raised by all elements of the Running on Empty project and to distribute those funds to the lowest level in the fight against Parkinsons Disease and particularly to address the stigma associated with it.
