It provides more<br>specialised coaching in ensemble playing that<br>young people are usually able to access in<br>schools. It gives performance opportunities –<br>both in groups and solos, in a variety of concert<br>and public venues. Where pupils' circumstances<br>require financial support bursaries are available.<br>Some students complete their ‘volunteering’<br>element of Duke of Edinburgh Award through the<br>centre.<br>It provides volunteering opportunities for<br>parents/carers also.|

Increase Student Enrolment and**<br>**Participation:**<br>Pupil numbers continue to increase - in the<br>region of 11%.<br>Schools in Chesterfield and North East<br>Derbyshire contacted for promotion of specific<br>new groups linked to CIL – 2 starter groups were<br>established.<br>We held a series of concerts and other events to<br>promote the Music Centre, with good community<br>engagement.<br>Thanks to a generous donation from a local<br>supporter, we established a bursary fund.<br>**2.**<br>**Enhance Educational Offerings:**<br>Our Ensembles embrace a wide range of musical<br>genres and instruments.<br>Part funded learning on rare instruments is now<br>offered.<br>To widen our community engagement we held a<br>successful joint event with Chesterfield<br>Symphony Orchestra as well as providing<br>concerts at different local venues, including the<br>local library as part of their concert season, and<br>taken part in community event days.<br>**3. Strengthen Community Engagement and**<br>**Partnerships:**<br>We are a partner of Derbyshire Music Hub.<br>Community partnerships have progressed as set<br>out above.<br>The number of regular volunteers has increased.<br>**4. Improve Financial Health and**<br>**Sustainability:**<br>The donations received this year exceeded our<br>expectations and we sincerely thank our<br>generous donorswhohavehelped to put us ona|

Upgrade Facilities and Equipment:**<br>Through the donation of instruments and<br>remaining finance from North East Derbyshire<br>Music Centre we have a wide range of<br>instruments to be loaned to students.<br>Many instruments required repair and servicing,<br>and this work continues.|

I report in respect of my examination of the Trusfs accounts carried o
