## Annual Trustee Report 2026 1. Annual account return – (See 2024-2025 accounts) 2. Summary of Main achievements: - -Fundraising events; The Yorkshire 3 Peaks that raised £1200 - -We are now up to 2 classes, 7 regular attendees in each class. 3. Wider benefts to Society: - -We have continue to provide a class that has benefited children from the Care experienced community. After requesting feedback from the parents we have seen that the children feel safe, have enjoyed the classes and are becoming more confident at expressing themselves through the medium of Performing Arts. (An email feedback form was sent to the parents and we have verbally asked the students for feedback that has been shared on the Believe website anonymously). They realise that they are not alone and that there are children in similar circumstances which has reduced a feeling of isolation and promoted a feeling of belonging and self worth. - The classes have helped to improve the students sense of confidence, self esteem and social skills helping them interact in the wider community such as school. - Believe has provided an opportunity for parents, carers and guardians to meet and come together and support each other. Feedback from the parents has said they have appreciated being able to talk to other parents who are experiencing similar difficulties. 4. Teacher update: Emily is back from her maternity leave. We have also welcome Sarah Vandervelde ex Occupational therapist and Stagecoach Drama of over 20 years to help with cover when needed. Congratulations to trustee Beth who is currently on Maternity leave! 5. Marketng - We could really still do with spreading the word. It would still be good to do a short video to share on social media. The Stagecoach Charity Gala evening will help to raise awareness in their bi-annual charity gala evening. - . 6. Website update – Good to see fundraising section updated 7. Update on Spending The spending has doubled this year. There is the usual spend on hall hire, insurance and website however with two classes and Emily being on maternity leave, there was increased spend on teaching costs. We also bought the standing flag stand this year to have outside the Kinson Community Centre and we do events such as West Moors Farm fest. 8. Fund raising update Last year June we were successful in receiving £477.73 from West Moors Farm Fest as their Charity Partners plus £1200 from the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge 9.
