## **Structure, governance and management** 

The Baxter Lesser Foundation is a charitable trust governed by a Trust Deed dated 30th November 2023. The trustees are appointed in accordance with the provisions of the governing document. 

## **Objectives and activities** 

The charity’s objects are to promote charitable purposes for the public benefit, in particular by making small grants to individuals or organisations in need or for the advancement of education, health, or community development. During the year the Foundation received donations and made a small grant in line with these objectives. 

## **Achievements and performance** 

In the period ended 31th December 2024, the Foundation received total income of £500 in donations. It made one grant payment of £5 to support charitable activity. The trustees are satisfied that the Foundation is fulfilling its charitable aims effectively and remains in a position to make further grants as funds allow. 

## **Financial review** 

At 31th December 2024, the charity held cash balances of £495. There were no liabilities outstanding at the year end. The trustees consider the financial position to be sound and will continue to seek modest donations to support future grants. 

## **Reserves policy** 

Given the small scale of operations, the trustees aim to retain sufficient reserves to meet anticipated grant commitments and administrative costs. 



## **Plans for future periods** 

In 2025, the trustees intend to continue making small charitable grants in line with the Foundation’s objectives. 

## **Statement of trustees’ responsibilities** 

The trustees are responsible for keeping accounting records that comply with the Charities Act 2011 and for preparing an annual report and accounts that comply with current regulations.
