educaton for disadvantaged children and young
adults, partcularly, but not exclusively in the
Philippines, through the provision of grants for
payment of school/university fees, or grants to
other established charites.

For the public beneft, the relief of sickness and
the preservaton and protecton of health of
children with newly diagnosed cancer by
providing grants for immediate expenses such as
travel and accommodaton costs, associated
with their diagnosis and / or treatment.

For the public beneft, the relief of sickness and
the preservaton and protecton of health of
children with newly diagnosed cancer by
providing grants for cancer research
programmes, studies, and charites, partcularly
those involved with leading research into
alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, provided that the
useful results of such research are disseminated
to thepublic at large.|

The foundaton funds the university educaton of
one student living in the Philippines, with a
monthly donaton of £60/month for three years,
made through the Purple Community Fund
charity.
**Support**
The foundaton gave grants to families with a
child/young adult newly diagnosed with cancer,
receiving treatment in Notngham, UK. In
partcular, those receiving treatment through
ward E39 at theQueen’s Medical Centre(QMC),|
|||Notngham. Those eligible were directed to the
foundaton by staf at Young Lives vs Cancer
working with families at the QMC. The
foundaton gave ffy-fve £100 grants during this
reportng period.
**Research**
The foundaton created Maggie’s Arc by
donatng £10,000 to the established charity
Alice’s Arc. This charity is a global community of
families, scientsts and doctors whose aim is to
defeat rhabdomyosarcoma.|

## **Achievements and Performance**

by giving ffy-fve £100 grants to families with a
child/young adult newly diagnosed with cancer.
Although this is a modest start, our partners in
administering these grants – Young Lives vs
Cancer – assure us that the grants are greatly
appreciated and make a diference to those who
receive them.
Our sponsorship of a university student makes a
start in achieving another of the foundaton’s
aims, which is to cover school and university
fees for disadvantaged students. We hope to
expand these eforts in the coming years.
Our creaton of Maggie’s Arc means that our
goal of funding research has been met and we
will contnue to contribute into 2026. This will be
achieved by contnuing to put forward
partcipants to take part in the sponsorship
events promoted by Alice's Arc, such as the
Manchester marathon. This long-term project
will ensure the foundaton benefts the wider
community of cancer patents and will one day
see beter treatments available world-wide.|
