Para 1.20 | The success of the ODHS 75th Anniversary exhibition which used a local landmark, the Otford Palace, a CIO, has resulted in ODHS achieving a wider audience this year which is very pleasing. The on-going programmes of talks which are being heavily advertised to the community has resulted in the monthly lectures being well attended. Another factor for our larger audiences are the eye-catching posters produced for every talk which are designed by one of our trustees. |

| Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period |
Para 1.21 | The charity was able to cover expenditure out of income with a small loss due to the celebrations for our 75 years’ anniversary. However, even with this loss the society is still in a strong position regarding finance. Going forward, the charity has enough money to continue to fund its talks and will able to continue providing these to the membership. Work on the historical archives is continuing, ensuring that all artefacts are stabilised and can then be accessible to our members and to the wider public. |
