Trustees: Vikki Neal, Bev Stockley, Linda Pickering, Lynn Renouf, Phyllis Golborne (Linda Pickering stepped down after her commitment time) Trustees pray about who should be asked onto the board and invite those who are suitable. Each new trustee serves for 3 years which can be renewed. The initial trustees committed to serve for 1, 2 or 3 years.

The charity’s main objectives for the year were to advance the Christian faith in Teignmouth and its surrounds through the provision of times of worship, raising awareness and understanding of Christian beliefs and practices. Carrying out Christian services on Sundays and other activities during the week. Carrying out missionary and outreach work. There are no paid staff, and all positions, roles and participants are volunteers who had been DBS checked. Regular training sessions are participated in including First Aid and Safeguarding.
The leadership team meet monthly and hold a wider leadership team gathering twice a year. There are church information giving times for those who regularly attend. A weekly ENews is sent electronically, and TLC has a website and Facebook page. The trustees
meet quarterly. "The trust has a leadership team that is responsible for the running of the trust while the trustees ensure that all statutory requirements for the trust are met,"
The Lighthouse Church has held regular Christian worship gatherings, activities and outreach events. This includes Alpha/ The Bible Course, home groups, prayer events, outreach Sundays, lunches and church meetings. Members of the church also support those in need through charitable giving and provide help to those requiring additional assistance. TLC works with young people and families directly through Bright Stars, RockKidz, with church members working with the Youth Hub provision and Lego Cafe.
TLC does not own a building but rents space at the Teignmouth Hub as and when needed. There is a regular agreement for office space, Sunday gatherings and weekly activities.
TLC has a Benevolent fund to provide resources to those in need. Gifts of money are also given regularly to local, national and international charities.

As a new charity, The Lighthouse Church is in the process of developing its financial policy, registering with the HMRC for gift aid payments and making decisions regarding opening a savings account but these are not in place yet.
We have limited assets (sound equipment £1500) and liabilities as we do not own a building.
