central to our work. We offer six core
workshops that help people understand
how greenhouse gases are affecting
weather patterns and biodiversity. Our
flagship Climate Fresk workshop explains
climate change and empowers attendees to
take meaningful action. We also run repair
sessions for electronics and textiles, and
creative printing workshops to reconnect
people with making and each other.
We arrange and host multiple other events
for the community, including art exhibitions

events (including training workshops,
trainer facilitation workshops, Peoples'
Assemblies, exhibitions) with 1,833
attendances, the vast majority from the
North London boroughs. Highlights include:
- 2 Peoples’ Assemblies in 2024, each
attended by 45 people, focusing on ‘Heat
and Shade’ and ‘Flooding’, which
discussed and agreed concrete actions
individuals can take to mitigate the local
impact of these two climate-related
phenomena. Outputs from these also
helped Islington Council and GLA frame
their resilience planning. Our next
assembly is in June 2025, addressing
Retrofit.
- 9 Fixer Repair workshops in 2024,
allowing the Community to bring broken
electronic goods to be repaired by experts.
- Our Community Map, plotting and
connecting 250+local amenities.
