Objectives and Activities The charitable objectives are.. To advance the education of children, young people and thelr families in the Aylsham and surrounding area To raise aspirations. academic outcomes. and the development and understanding of knowledge To support the physical and mental health of children. young people and thelr families This can be achi8ved through: Building stronger communities through family learning, youth work, employabilily support, and lifelong learning opportunilies. Relieving hardship and improving wellbeing by providing social. emotional. and mental health (SEMH) support. In plannin9 and delivering our work, the truslees confirm that they have had regard to the Charity Commission's guidan￿ on public benefit. 4. Achievements and Perforniance During the year. TACT (Families) reached over 6.000 b8neflclaTies across our community. Key activities included: Mental Health & SEMH Support . 727 child refe￿al$ received from 8 schools. - 6,882 one-to-one sessions with chitdren, ycKJng people or families, across 1.1 sessions, group work and parent support meetings 29 referrals for under-14s and 42 referrals for over-14s made to CAMHS. A nOti￿able reduction from the previous year with early intervention and work wilh psychotherapy seNios having a direct impact. - Delivery of a number of support groups and training workshops for parents to support young people with their mental health. Ongoing partnership working with a number of charitable organisalions in the area - Volunteer-led listening service Family Learning Days Highly successful and well-attended days strengthening families, engagement with schools. Over 550 attendees at the June Family Learning Day. Feedback highlighted increased confidence, skills. and parent-school relationships. Lifelong Adult Loarnlng - Over 200 learners attended workshops in crafts, level 1 counselling and introduction to British sign language. - Leisure sessions included, candle making. needle felting, sea glass portraits, sewing machine skills and wreath making. - Feedback. great opportunity lo leam a new skill and meet new fii8fKIs." Community Partnershlps - Collaborations with Broadland District Council, Norfolk County Council, Norfolk Community Foundation, Sir Norman Lamb Fund, Aylsharn Rotary. Tesco, ASDA foundations, MADL and many local partners. - Support ranged from SEMH funding to Christmas presents for vulnerable families, worksFK)ps, youth projects and support for famity leaming events. 5. Flnancial Review The charity received fundlng from a wide range of sources including local authorities, community foundations. and individual donations.
