Constitution
Lazola Sport and Fitness is governed by its constitution and is managed by its trustees, who are responsible for ensuring that the charity acts in accordance with its charitable objectives and complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
The trustees meet regularly to review progress, discuss strategic development, and plan future activities.

During the period under review, the following individuals served as trustees:

Governance Changes

Noura Zouari was appointed Chairman on 16 November 2023.

Following several meetings and collective decisions by all trustees, it was agreed that from 26 June 2026, Abraham Gassama would assume the role of Chairman, and Noura Zouari would continue as a Trustee.
All decisions were made jointly and in the best interests of the charity.

Objectives and Activities
The charity’s main purposes are:

To promote physical activity, sport, and fitness for children, young people, and adults, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

To improve physical and mental wellbeing through accessible sport and fitness programmes.

To provide inclusive sport and fitness opportunities, with a particular focus on individuals with disabilities.

To support community development by offering safe, structured, and positive after-school activities.

Achievement and Performance
During the financial year ended 31 March 2025, Lazola Sport and Fitness did not deliver operational activities and did not incur any expenditure.
This period was primarily focused on:

The trustees and chairman held several meetings throughout the year to:

A key outcome of these discussions was the decision to focus future work on afterschool activities, especially in disability centres, where access to sport and fitness opportunities is limited.
