delivered a range of programmes
specifically aimed at improving the lives of
young people aged 18 and under. These
included physical activity sessions,
mentoring schemes, life skills workshops,

and mental wellbeing, and offer positive
alternatives to exclusion and
disengagement. The services were
provided in partnership with schools, local
authorities and community groups, and
focused on those most at risk of

successfully delivered its programmes
primarily in the North East of England and
in Cumbria. This delivery was made
possible through funding awarded by the
Big Lottery Fund and Sport England.
A total of 250 young people directly
benefited from our work. All participants
were under the age of 18 and identified as
being from vulnerable or disadvantaged
backgrounds. This included individuals with
low or no school attendance, those
experiencing mental health challenges,
young people from low socio-economic
households, and those exhibiting or at risk
of anti-social behaviour.
Through structured physical activity
sessions, life skills workshops, and
personalised mentoring, the charity helped
improve participants' confidence,
resilience, and engagement with positive
community activities. Many young people
reported improved wellbeing, greater
motivation, and a renewed sense of
belonging. Feedback from schools, families,
and local partners further confirmed the
impact of our work in supporting re-
engagement with education and reducing
risk factors associated with exclusion.
In addition to individual development, the
charity’s programmes contributed to wider
societal benefits by promoting inclusion,
reducing anti-social behaviour, and helping
