**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITABLE INCORPORATED ORGANISATION (CIO) ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT:1) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROMOTING THE USE OF THE CONTEMPORARY ARTS AS A MECHANISM TO DEVELOP INCLUSIVE NARRATIVES AROUND HISTORY AND CULTURAL HERITAGE (WHETHER TANGIBLE, INTANGIBLE OR NATURAL) TO ENSURE THAT HERITAGE CONTEXTS REMAIN RELEVANT TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC; AND2) TO ADVANCE THE CONTEMPORARY ARTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE COMMISSIONING OF CONTEMPORARY ART IN ANY FORM TO RESPOND TO CULTURAL HERITAGE STORIES.FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE, ‘CULTURAL HERITAGE’ REFERS TO THE LEGACY OF PHYSICAL ARTEFACTS AND INTANGIBLE ATTRIBUTES OF A GROUP OR SOCIETY THAT IS INHERITED FROM PAST GENERATIONS, MAINTAINED IN THE PRESENT, AND BESTOWED FOR THE BENEFIT OF FUTURE GENERATIONS. IT INCLUDES TANGIBLE CULTURE (SUCH AS BUILDINGS, MONUMENTS, LANDSCAPES, BOOKS, WORKS OF ART, AND ARTEFACTS), INTANGIBLE CULTURE (SUCH AS FOLKLORE, TRADITIONS, LANGUAGE, AND KNOWLEDGE), AND NATURAL HERITAGE (INCLUDING CULTURALLY SIGNIFICANT LANDSCAPES, BIODIVERSITY, AND ECOSYSTEMS).

**Activities:** Working across the UK to promote the use of contemporary arts as a mechanism to develop inclusive narratives around history and cultural heritage  (tangible, intangible or natural).  Ensure that heritage contexts remain relevant  to the general public and advance the contemporary arts through commisioning and advocating for contemporary art in any form that responds to cultural heritage stories.
