1. Introduction
The Trustees of Glebelands Community Centre IGCCI are pleased to present theirfirst Annual
Report, together with the Financial Statements lor the period ended 31 March 2025. This report 18
prepared under the Charities Act 2011 and the Statement of Recommended Practice ISORPI for
charities.
Legal Status:
GCC is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation ICIOI regulated by the Charity Commission. This
structure provides the benefits of incorporation without the administrative burden of being
company. GCC is a separate legal entity from its predecessor, The Glebelands Centre Limited
IGCLI, which is now dissolved.
The transition to CIO status was made to avoid du81 reporting to Companies House and the Charity
Commission.
2. Objectives and Activities
Charitable Purpoy8:
To provide a safe, inclusive, and accessible community space offering activitl88, SUPPOrt, and
facilities that Improve the well-being, skills, and social coheslon of local residents.
Publlc Beneflt Stotement:
The Trustees confirm compliance with section 17 of the Charities Act 2011, ensuring all 8Ctlvities
benefit the local community without restriction.
Key Activities This Year:
Transitioned from the previous Limited Company IGCLI 2nd achièved lull CIO status
Managed, maintained, and improved the community centre building

Glebelands Community Centre
Provided facilities for a variety of activities (exercise, yoga. Pilates, choir, steel band, arts
and crafts, senior social sessions)
Hosted Ioc81 support gioups, advice services, and communlty meetings
Offered affordable room hire for local organisations and residents
Provided polling station facilities for elections

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/03/2025. 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
