Reserve funds are held to cover three potential eventualities: 1. In the event of an unforseen, short term fall in attendance, reserves would be used to allow a managed response. 2. To allow for long term investment in the Pre School (eg equipment purchases) 3. In the event of a forced closure, to cover all winding up costs for the Pre school (predominantly redundancy costs).
