The organisation is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) operated under the rules of its constitution adopted 8th November 2023
Objectives and Activities
The rescue rescues and rehabilitates small animals from across the UK. We provide sanctuary for medically fragile animals and support other rescues with complex behavioural and medical cases,

providing refuge for some rabbits who are unable to be rehomed. We aim to educate the public on proper husbandry, and to make impactful change to the rescue crisis in the UK.
The objectives of the CIO are to promote humane behaviour towards rabbits and other small animals in England, Wales and Scotland by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for animals which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage and to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals.
Public Benefit
The Bunnyjackpot Foundation exists to promote humane treatment and welfare of rabbits and other small animals across the UK. During this reporting period, we rescued and rehabilitated animals in need, provided sanctuary for those with complex medical or behavioural needs, and supported other rescues facing challenging cases. We worked closely with veterinary professionals to deliver high-quality care and hosted educational events to improve public understanding of rabbit welfare, bonding, and husbandry. These activities directly advance our charitable objectives and provide clear public benefit by reducing animal suffering, promoting responsible ownership, and equipping owners with the knowledge to prevent cruelty and neglect.
Financial Review
In our first reporting period (8 November 2023 to 31 March 2025), The Bunnyjackpot Foundation received £130,597, mainly from donations (£80,382) and services (£28,511), alongside Gift Aid, product sales, and two grants totaling £6,000, which we were delighted to secure. Expenditure was £121,096, primarily for veterinary care. We ended the year with £9,502, a strong start that reflects the generosity of our supporters and the impact of grant funding.
Statement of Trustees’ Responsibilities
The trustees are responsible for preparing the trustees’ annual report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations. The Charities Act 2011 requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year that give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of its incoming resources and application of resources for that period. In preparing these financial statements, the trustees are required to:
● Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently;
● Make judgments and estimates that are reasonable and prudent; The trustees are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 2011. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

Independent Examiner's Report to the trustees of The Bunnyjackpot Foundation I report to the trustees on my examination of the financial statements of The Bunnyjackpot Foundation for the year ended 31 March 2025
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act').
I report in respect of my examination of the charity's financial statements carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I can confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

the accounting records were not kept in respect of the charity as required by section 130 of the Act; or
-
the financial statements do not accord with those records; or
-
the financial statements do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of financial statements set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the financial statements give a 'true and fair' view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report to enable a proper understanding of the financial statements to be reached
