The Academy commenced its activities on l May 2024. ACCOUNTING POLICIES Aceounting convention The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention with ilems recognised at cost of transaction value unless otherwise stated in the relevant notes to these accounts. The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice: Accounting and Reporting by Charities prepanng their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Stsndard applicable in the UK and Republic of Lreland (FRS 102) and with the Charities Act 201 I. Recognlllon of Income These are included in the Statemenl of Financial Activities when the charity becomes entitled to the resources Tax reelaims on dongtions and gifts The charity is not currently r¢￿stered for gift aid recovery. Volunteer help The value of any voluntary help received is not included in the accounts but is described in the truslc¢s' annual report.
