Objects: The objects of the Charity set out in the constitution are:
(l) To promote f or the benef it of the public the conservation protection and
improvement of the physical and natural environment of Kinsbourne Green Common
by promotiThJ bio109ical diversity.
(11)To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare
f or recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such
f acilities by reason of their youth. age, inf irmity or disability. f inanciol hardship or
social circunistances with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Objectives. activities and achievements over the period:
The key objectives over the period were to:
(i)
Set up the Chority
(li)
Raise suf f icient f unds to purchase and maintain Kinsbourne Green Common
(iii) Purchase Kinsbourne Green Common f rom the previous owners
(iv) Initiate the creation of a plan to manage on an ongoing basis the Common in
accordance with the Objects of the Charity
The Trustees actively achieved all of these objectives over the period.
In doing SO, the Trustees hove secured the future of the Common for the benef it of
the locol community and wider public. to maintain and enhance its environmental health
and diversity, and maintain a much loved recreational space.
In carryiw out these activities. the Trustees have had regard to the guidance issued
by the Charity Commission on public benefit.
Financial Review
At the end of the period. in holdin9 reserves of £50.516 the trustees believed that
they had suf f icient reserves to nxitntain the Common for the time being. Ideolly the
Trustees would wish to hold reserves suff icient to ￿￿Intain the Common for at least
three years. As such, at the end of the period. the Trustees had no concerns about the
charity ceasin9 to be a going concern.
Over the period. the Trustees raised approxinwjtely £2￿.1￿)0 through donations from
locol residents. includiNJ Gift Aid. and also from local organisations.

the yeor ended 30th June 2024 which are set out on pages 5 to 6.

Act.
