The Executive Committee has great pleasure in submitting the Annual Report and audited accounts for the year ended 31[st ] March 2025 and the budget for the year 2025-2026 of our Parish for your review and approval. ## EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE The Executive committee met 7 times during the year to discuss and implement various programs of our Parish. Executive committee has worked together as a great team and has worked hard towards the spiritual growth of the church. We thank all the Executive committee members for their dedication and support during the last year. ## GENERAL BODY The General Body convened on 16[th] June 2024 after the Holy Communion Service at Cyncoed Methodist Church, Cardiff and approved the Annual Report for 2023-2024, approved the audited accounts for the financial year 2023-2024 and budget for the financial year 2024-2025. The General body also convened on 3rd November 2024 after Holy Communion service at Cyncoed Methodist Church, Cardiff to seek approval for Visa sponsor licensing and purchase of parsonage. General Body convened on 2[nd] March 2025 after the Holy Communion service at Cyncoed Methodist Church, Cardiff to elect the office bearers and executive committee members for 2025-26. ## MEMBERSHIP Our Parish membership as on 31st March 2025, stands at around 60 families and 200 members including adults and children. During this report year, 6 new families have taken membership. ## CHURCH SERVICES ## HOLY COMMUNION AND DIVINE SERVICES Sunday services were conducted at Cyncoed Methodist Church in the evening. Sunday school common session were conducted at 3.30 PM every Sunday (5.45pm on second Sunday) and classes were taken by the respective teachers. ## LENT SERVICES Lent prayer meetings were held weekly at church. ## VIDHYARAMBHAM Vidhyrarambam and Ezhuthiniruthu was conducted for students entering the new academic year on September 1st. ## CHRISTMAS CAROL ROUNDS Christmas Carol rounds were held on 30[th] Nov, 20[th] and 21[st] Dec. Charity No. 12056536** _Diocese of UK, Europe & Africa of the Mar Thoma Church_ First two days were arranged separately for Cardiff and Newport prayer group houses. 21st Dec was planned jointly by Cardiff and Newport prayer groups for Bridgend, Neath, and Swansea houses. ## CHRISTMAS CAROL SERVICE Christmas Carol service was celebrated on 14th Dec 2024 (Saturday) from 6 PM at Cyncoed Methodist Church. Immanuel Mar Thoma Church, Cardiff choir songs were presented along with presentations by Sevika Sangam and Sunday School. Rev Ranju K Skaria from the Malankara Orthodox church was the chief guest and delivered the Christmas message. ## CHRISTMAS SERVICE Holy Communion Service in Malayalam was held on Christmas day at 7:30 am in church. ## NEW YEAR SERVICE New year watch night service was held on 31st Dec 2024 from 10:30 PM with testimony from members during the service. ## CONVENTION Immanuel Mar Thoma Church, Cardiff convention was held on 17, 18, 19 January 2025. Rev Soju M Thomas, Vicar, St James MTC, London, was the Convention Speaker. ## – PRAYER GROUPS/HOUSE PRAYERS MONTHLY PRAYER Monthly house prayer meeting was scheduled on 1[st] and 3[rd] Saturdays of the month across Cardiff and Newport prayer group. ## FIRST COMMUNICANTS Our Diocesan Episcopa celebrated with us the dedication of 16 First Communicants in our church on 15[th] March 2025. Charity No. 12056536** _Diocese of UK, Europe & Africa of the Mar Thoma Church_ the church ## OTHER IMPORTANT ACTIVITIES - Harvest Collection – 3630 GBP was raised. - One Day Income – 3985 GBP was raised. - Vacation Bible School (VBS) - Christmas Carol rounds - Two Episcopal visits this year - First Communicants Batch dedication - First year of operation as a CIO - Fund raising for parsonage - £55k+ committed - Procurement initiated on parsonage - Sponsorship License issued for the church ## **FINANCES** The church raised an income of £101333.74 while expending £52,679.67 resulting in a surplus of £48654.07 for the FY 2024-25 ## **GRATITUDE** The Executive committee wishes to express our sincere gratitude to - God Almighty - Our Metropolitan Bishop, Diocesan Bishop and all our Achens who - have been with us over the years for all their support and prayers - Rev Subin Mathew Parayil and Rev Sijo John for the efficient - leadership and guidance - The Office bearers, all the executive committee members, internal auditors, and all the organizations of our congregation for their sincere effort and co-operation in all our activities - Each of our members and well-wishers who have directly or indirectly helped us through-out the year. - Cyncoed Methodist Church for the continued support. As a Parish, we arranged various programmes for the spiritual growth of our members and extended fellowship to others. We have extended possible support to the needy. Let us rededicate ourselves to Discipleship and reconciliation, which are integral to our mission and to follow his commands, to reflect Christ’s character of humility, love, integrity, generosity, and servant hood.
