Objectlves and Actlvltles
The Object of the CIO is, for the public ben8fit, to advance the evangelical Christian
faith, induding but not limited to, by the provision of grants or other funding or
providing practical support to churches and other Christian charities and groups in
Preston, or such other parts of the United Kingdom as the Charily Trustees may from
lime to time decide.
In summary. the main activities in relation to the above purposes of the CIO have
been meeting regularly, setting up a bank account, responding to offers offinancial
support and preparing for requests for grants.
The trustees of the CIO have had regard to tho guidance issues by Ihe Charity
Commission on public benefit.
Achlevements and Perfomiance
The main achievements of the charity have related to the setting up and
establishment of the CIO. The charity now has a bank account and has now been
introduced to churches within the Preston area. It has a website with f urther
infomiation about Ihe charity, the statement of faith and the grant making policy.
As yet there have been no requests for financial support and therefo￿ there a
currently no benefiaaries 8nd no wider benefits to society as a whole.

At the end of the period st8ted at the top of Ihis document the financial position of tre
charity is as follows.

During the financial period specified at the top of this report, the charity has received
a small numberof donations. No grants have been received.
The liabilities are those costs which have been incAJrred with 8dministering the
charity. There have been no requests for financial support during this financial
period.

Structure, Governance and Management
The charity is govemed by our goveming do¢%ment. the CIO Foundation Constitution.
The charity is constituted as a CIO.
Trustee selections and appointments are made in accordance with our goveming
document. All proposed trustees must be agreed by a majority of the trustees and
must be able to sign to our statement of faith.
