I report to the trjstees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ("the Twst") for the year ended

As the charity's trustees. you are resp)nsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
(Ihe Ad.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trusys accounts carried out
under section 145 ofthe 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

During 2024, RBC Community Care continued to host the Collier Row & Romford Foodbank
at its distribution centres at Romford Baptist Church, The Ascencion Church Hall in Collier
Row and The Wykeham Centre at St Edward's Church in the Market Place, Romford.
We have continued to rely gready on the donations of food and money from all our donors
together with the large stores who provide us with their regularly-given food supplies.
However, as continues to be experiences across most towns in the UK, the need for food
and the reliance on the foodbank outstrips the food which is either donated or purchased.
A campaign was run at harvest time but the charity has continued to meet the shortfall
between the demand and the donations, by purchasing food on a weekly basis.
We remain grateful to all our volunteers who assist at the distribution centres on a week-
by-week basis and to Rachel Chemnjor for all that she contributed and achieved in her
time as the Foodbank Co-ordinator. We wish her well for all her future endeavours. We
have now appointed a new Co-ordinator in 2025 and we look forward to seeing what God
has in store for the foodbank in the year head.
