Summary of activities
We visit churches, schools, community centres to: Provide Presentations, Seminars, Workshops around issues of Bereavement Provide One to one pastoral care/listening, by Bereavement Support team Organise retreats for spiritual and emotional wellbeing
Sign posting and referral to related organisations Network with Churches, Schools and related organisations to provide some/all of the above activities.

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**
‘VESSELS OF COMPASSION UK’ was approved by The Charity Commission as Charitable Incorporated Organization (CIO) - FOUNDATION registered 26 October 2023. During the last financial year, the charity has made strong progress in supporting people affected by grief and loss. It delivered bereavement awareness presentations to three organisations and ran two conferences to improve understanding of grief and how to support those affected. The charity launched its Coffee Mornings project in London in June 2025, creating safe and supportive spaces for people experiencing bereavement. Its first Coffee Morning opened in Slough in October 2025 with 31 attendees and now continues monthly.
Partnership work included hosting a Leeds conference with The Light House charity on homelessness and bereavement, and working with COGP Slough to address pregnancy and infant loss.
In November 2025, the charity secured £18,950 from the National Lottery Community Fund to promote its Care Package project for bereaved university students in Leeds, providing food and hygiene essentials. The project is being promoted through communities, youth groups, two university unions, Leeds Students Chaplaincy, and local radio.
The charity also strengthened governance by appointing two new trustees, including a Chairperson, while seven team members completed safeguarding training.
