The charity is a CIO registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (No. 1205442), constituted on the foundation model under which the charity trustees are the only members.
-
The charity’s affairs were conducted by its three trustees acting in a voluntary capacity. The charity engaged no employees and no contractors during the period, and made no payments to any staff or contractors.
-
Governance policies previously adopted — covering safeguarding, complaints, financial controls, trustee expenses, the investment of charity funds, and serious incident reporting — remained in place during the period.
6. Events After the Reporting Period
After the end of the reporting period, the trustees concluded that it was in the best interests of the charity and its charitable purposes that the CIO be dissolved. On 29 April 2026 the trustees and members each passed resolutions to that effect, and an application for dissolution under Part 3 of the Charitable Incorporated Organisations (Insolvency and Dissolution) Regulations 2012 was submitted to the Charity Commission.
In light of that decision, the charity is no longer regarded as continuing in operation. As the charity holds no assets and has no liabilities, this has no effect on the figures reported in these accounts.
7. Declaration
This report was approved by the trustees on 2 June 2026 and is signed on their behalf by:
Bassel Adam Ojjeh
Trustee (Chair), for and on behalf of the charity trustees of Helping Our People Endure
