## **2. Objectives and Activities** 

V.I.B.E exists to advance the education and holistic development of young people, primarily within the Jamaican community, through structured academic support, mentorship, and empowerment initiatives. 

In 2024, we focused on: 

- Delivering academic support via the Easter Revision Program. 

- Promoting youth empowerment and leadership development. 

- Enhancing community engagement through events and feedback mechanisms. 

## **3. Achievements and Performance** 

Easter Revision Program 2024: 

- Focus areas included Math, English A, and Principles of Business. 

- Delivered by six qualified educators and supported by student volunteers and mentors. 

- Post-program feedback indicated that 85% of students felt more prepared for GCSE examinations. 

- Noted strengths: quality of teaching, structured scheduling, and safe environment. 

- Areas for improvement include: curriculum alignment, volunteer briefing, and use of registration data. 

Other Highlights: 

- Active governance by a committed Board of Trustees. 

## **4. Financial Review** 

- The program was funded primarily through donations and in-kind support. 

- Major costs included venue rental, teaching materials, meals, and honoraria for teachers. 

- Full financial statement is attached as an appendix (to be added if available). 

## **5. Structure, Governance, and Management** 

- The organisation is governed by a Board of Trustees, in line with its Constitution. 

- In 2024, the board comprised 4 members, including Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary, and the newly instated Chaplain. 

- Monthly meetings were held to oversee program implementation and financial stewardship. 



- Safeguarding policies were reviewed and maintained, especially in alignment with youth work. 

## **6. Plans for 2025** 

- Expand the Easter Revision Program to include sciences and more CSEC subjects. 

- Launch a mentorship and career readiness initiative. 

- Improve digital infrastructure for registration, volunteer management, and student tracking. 

- Increase fundraising efforts to support program sustainability.

The Trustees confirm that they have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the Charities Authority.
