**Objects:** 1) TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING AND DISTRESS OF ANIMALS IN NEED OF CARE AND PROTECTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, NEGLECT OR MALTREATMENT BY ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING A HOME OR HOMES AS SANCTUARY FOR SUCH ANIMALS; AND2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN THE PROPER CARE OF ANIMALS.

**Activities:** Thornberry Animal Sanctuary continues its work started in 1988 of rescuing domestic or pet animals  such as dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and many other smaller animals, as well as horses and ponies and some goats, sheep, hens and ducks. We give them relief from abandonment, abuse or neglect. We care for them, assess and treat them as needed and find good permanent homes for them.
