We have also launched a shop through our website for followers to purchase our merchandise through the website

Contribution made by volunteers	Para 1.38	We continue to receive services from 3 main volunteers to support our charity – they help with delivery of talks, sharing of information/merchandise, and events when required. When our support hub opens in January 26 we will be looking to recruit more volunteers to support us with our work and have already started reaching out through our social media channels.
Other		We employed a Charity Consultant to help us with exploring new grant funding opportunities and to guide us in growing our organisation. This is proving invaluable with lots of

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	 Within the second year we have delivered 47 talks to local schools, colleges, training centres and workplaces, spreading awareness across the area of benefit to over 7500 members of our community. This includes attending 8 events across the year. We have also arranged or been part of 5 large fundraising events, which has support us in regards raising our awareness and sharing our story across our Community  We have also supported 7 different families across our area of benefit either victims or their families who have been affected by ‘one punch’ – for them to know they are not alone, and can turn to us for advice and support, as we have the lived experience of this type of crime, has been a real benefit for them.  We took our play on tour – One Punch, having already performed in our local town, we had the opportunity to take the play to Manchester, The Home Theatre across 4 nights. We received great reviews and are planning to take our play out on tour again in 2027.  Feedback continues to be positive from all the schools we visit, which includes Primary and Secondary schools. They are asking us to return year on year. Some schools have adopted our vision statement – Stop Think Walk Away, to assist them in changing behaviours of their students. We receive lots of questions, and there is good engagement from the students. We have received local grants to support us in continuing our work in the local community, and in particular areas of deprivation across Hull.

	We have launched our book
	Scott’s Story this year, written by
	Scott’s mum Debbie Akester. The
	book talks through Scott’s early
	life, the events of that night when
	Scott lost his life to ‘One Punch’
	and the 12 months that followed,
	through the court case, setting
	up our charity and the impact of
	that fatal punch, which changed
	lives forever. During the first 12
	months 212 books were sold and
	we continue to promote the book
	across our social media. We have
	also been contacted by families
	who are experiencing similar
	situations as ours, who find the
	book really helpful to them to
	understand the journey they will
	take through the court judicial
	process if having to go through a
	trial. Again we have received
	really positive feedback from
	everyone who has read the book.
	We attend local events and speak
	to young families who are
	interested in our charity – we
	share our story with them, give
	out merchandise and leaflets so
	they can discuss our work when
	they get home, and with their
	wider family and friends – again
	raising awareness and reaching
	as many people as possible.
	We have a big following on social
	media – and continue to post
	information and share advice in
	regards to ‘one punch’ and
	reached over over 5000 followers
	on facebook and over 2000
	followers on tik tok during this
	year. We also sell our
	merchandise through these
	platforms and are looking to
	expand this further bringing on
	board new merchandise to help
	promote the work we do in our
	community.
	We have been chosen as Charity
	of the Year by a number of local
	companies in Hull this financial
	year – these include Nielson’s
	Financial Services and Smith &
	Nephews, creating new platforms
	for us to promote our work. We
	have been invited into both
	companies to deliver our talk and
	hold information events to help

their employees understand the risk of physical violence and the devastation that can be caused by One Punch. We continue to explore new ideas and reach out to local companies for similar experiences.

Performance of fundraising activities against objectives set	Para 1.41	We have held a number of fundraising events this year including@ 1xannual memorial event in memory of Scott Akester which was very popular with over 300 people attending. We held a tootball tournament, with 12 teams competing for the Scott Akester Shield for the 2nd year. We had a family fun day where we held a raffle, facepainting, buffet, and merchandise sale stall, and raised over £1200 for the charity at the event. We have held our 2nd charity boxing Night in October 25 which raised over £2000 for our charity and raised awareness with everyone who attended. We also held 2 ‘walk and talk’ events inviting the wider community to join us on a 5 mile walk across Humber Bridge – both events were well attended, and we raised £300 on the days.

of the period and helps us sustain our charity
including holding a £4000 reserve for
future years. We will continue to
promote our charity through our work,
donations and grants to ensure we have

Investment policy and objectives including any social investment policy adopted	Para 1.46	In regards to social investment – we have created the Scott Akester Foundation as part of our Charity to support local grass root sports teams with sponsorships including football and rugby. This includes all age groups, including children and adults, and also includes boys and girls as we believe it is important to share our story and the objectives of our charity with as many people as possible. This allows us to do so across the sporting clubs in our local area. It also provides wider publicity for our charity to spread awareness as far as possible.
A description of the principal risks facing the charity	Para 1.46	At the present time we don’t see any risks facing our charity – we have lots more to do in regards our objectives and a lot of interest from local companies as the profile of our charity grows – we continue to be chosen by local companies as their charity of the year, and receive recognition for the hard work we deliver through out the

year. The community is supporting us with donations and the sale of our merchandise with any profit from sales going back into our charity, and we continue to apply for grant funding where we can. We are growing our charity all the time and looking for new ideas to expand and raise our profile. Other
