Trustees. Report The ThteeS present their annual report together with the fAnancial statements of Keighley Lions Club Charitable Incorporated Organisation (the Charity) for the 12-month period ending 30 June 2025. The Thtstees confirm that the Annual Report and financial statements of the Charity comply with the Cent sLqtutory requirements, the requiretnents of the Chariry's governing document and the provisions of the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) "Accounting and Reporting by Chartties" issued in March 2015. Structure, Governance and Management Keighley Lions Club Chariry registered as a ch]table Incorporated Organisation on the 23rd October 2023. The Club Charter was transferred to the new CIO from 12 November 2025. The COnStition Stkpulates that the minimum number of trustees shall be three and the maximum twelve. The Presidenc Secretary and Treasurer are all mandatory tstee5. Any member taking up those posts must be a trustee. In addiiion to the consrituuon the Immediate Past Presideni & the Ifice President are also trustees. The process for the appointment of trustees is stipulated in the Consutution. A 'TnJstees' meeting is held required, and in any case every three months. This meeting manages the governance of the dub as set out under the Clwitable Incorporated Organisation Constitution. The Charity's Insuran requirements a covered under Lions Clubs Enternational Multiple District 105 insurance arrangements. This year the CIO have continued to provide public benefiL and we will explain how this has been achieved in this report. All the administration expenses of the CIO are dealt with through the 'AdMitratiOn Account, the balance of which does not include any money raised from members of the public. The ttustees can confinn that the CIO does not have any outstanding liabilities or debts. The CIO has a grant making tK)licy, all applications are considered by the tnleeS at their meetlngs. The trustees then make recommendations whieh are considered by all the rnernbe of the CIO. The procedure for this process is outlined wlthln the constlwtion. Club Activities One of our club successes for the year was to secure a site where we can can build a s(orage wilt. This unit will be used to store all of Keighiey Lions equipment and allow us to calry out maintenance on the Santa's sleigh. An amount of £3500 has been caLTied over to next year, this will be restricted for the purchase and erection of the storage unit. The unli will be at the Woodville Con)muDiry premises were we will pay a nominal ground rent of £275 a year. Income In this 12-month period the club had an Income of £17849.85 Thls has been generated by the club havlng a stall at vatlous community Fetes, Gala's and through speciflc revenue generating events, like a -sunday lunch" for the Gift of Living project raising £fGI. Generating a income of £10046.20 a comprehensive Iisi is given in the statement of accounts section of thls document. There have also been significant donations made to Keighley Lions from bucket collections at the local supern)arkets and through our door to door collections with the Santa's Sleigh, generating an income contribution of £5687.12. We have also picked up a significani ffincome contrlbutlon In sponsorsmp thls year of £1486.45. To finish with we picked up a £500 grant from the local Metropolitan Council through the Communiry Chest unding scheme. for a new set of noticeboards. Our Santa Sleigh was a succe55 this year with a 25.T% increase in contributions over last year, at £4328.81. followed by our Santa's Grotto at aiffe Castle making another huge contribution to funds with £4285.11. One of our Llons conducted a skx)nsored walk of the Yorkshire Three Peaks and raise a whopping £1485.75 for the district Martin House project. Expenses Obviously, our events have cost us money in the provision of materials and entrance fee5 $0 these events could happen. This years expenses have come in ai £286813.
Service We have covered a wide range of service work in this Lionistic year: Handing out Message In A Bottle & Message In A Wallet prUCts. Helping with the local Homele Not Hopeless clwity with clothes. sleeping bags and blankets. Providing clothing for a young child Witho dothes and lighting for their bedroom. Furniture purchased for a family moving from an abusive relationship. Prostate testing event for 72 male mernbers of the public. Providing presents and a Sants for a senior citizeDS a)risw Lunch. Providing a Christsnas thanks to the back Offi staff a( our local hospitaL by handing out over 30 boxes of biscuits. Painting and converting an old BT phone box Into a publlc exchange Ilbrary. Paint the fencing in a local llage parL Chrlstmas selection boxes for the foster children's visit to the local cinema. Built and provided a Christmls letter box to the Airedale Community Charity Thl Provided the Airedale Community Chatity Thjsi with a christi tree and decorations. Donations Under thi5 section Keighley Lions has made 25 donations to various good causes and groups totalling £8522.52. A comprehenslve Ilst Is given In the statement of accounts sectlon of thls document. Conclusion Having conducted all of our service work over the 24125 Lion]IC year we have had a total expenditure of £16269.52 including direct and indirect expenses. Leaving us a surplus of £81131. Some of this surplus has been reStriCd to the Martin House appeal for Distria and the storage unlt when it ts finally completed. Membership The CIO contlnues to ty and recruit new members however this is proving to a challenge. Membership of the CIO at the end of June 2025 was 18 member5 of which 15 were acuve. Members meet twice a month and take part in the social and fundraising activities of the CIO.

Responsibilfities and basis of report As the charity's tluslees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act-). I report in respect of tny examination of the Thist's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination.
