To preserve and maintain for the public benefit Morecambe Bay Prawners, boats built by Crossfields and Kindred Vessels (including replicas) in sailing condition or otherwise as part of the heritage of Great Britain. 

To advance the education of the public including young people for public benefit as to the historic, social and cultural role of Morecambe Bay Prawners, other boats built by Crossfields and kindred vessels in the seagoing heritage of Great Britain and to provide training in the practise of the traditions and skills of seamanship involved in the sailing and

maintenance of Morecambe Bay Prawners , other boats by Crossfields and kindred vessels, including providing support for young people The trust now owns Spray a Morecambe Bay Prawner built in 1896. We aim to renovate Spray into sailing condition and educate the public about the role these boats had in the regional fishing industry during the 19[th] and 20[th] centuries.

Setting up the Charity. **Summary of the main** Setting up a website. **achievements of the charity** The purchase of the Morecambe Bay Prawner Spray (over a 5 year **during the year** period). Conservation and renovation of Spray including repairs to the hull. Raising funds to achieve the above and also to cover ongoing running costs. We have gained publicity in the local and national press. A group of local children have visited the boat.

As new charity we have not yet had the opportunity to build up any financial reserves. Our aim is to develop a reserve fund of £10,000 in order to cover a year’s running cost and any unforeseen repairs.

Funds have been raised by member donations and membership fees. All monies to date have been spent directly on Spray. This has included part purchase, moving the boat the Glasson dock, marina fees, insurance and the renovation and conservation of the boat.

- investment policy and objectives including any ethical investment policy adopted.
