Prior to the forniation of thc CIO thc charity oporated within a compaJ)y iimit¢d by guarantee. the London
Constrllction Academy LTmitcd {registration number 09020460) which ceased to operat¢ 31 March 2024.
I)￿llg thc final pcriod of accounts (l January 2023 to 31 March 2024) grants of £61,063 were expend¢d.
Objectives andpoli¢ies
The clkarity's activities expose it to a number of flllancial risks including credit risL cash tlow risk and liquidiry
risk. Th¢ use of financial derivativ¢s is gov¢rned by the charity's polici¢s approved by the board of tsust¢¢s, which
provide written principles on the use of f]naELcial derivatives to manage thesc risks. Tbe charity do&$ not use
derivative financial insln]rnents for speculative purposes.
Since converting to a CIO in October 2023, thc LCA has developed a Business Plan for thc next 5 years. Whil¢
independent funding stream5 are being establishcd, the rc8ular courses have been funded by Thc Worshipful
Company of Paviors.
An Impact Report has been procured that shows tbe excellent outcomes the LCA ha￿ achieved from 2021 ty 2024.
Th¢ h¢adlines ar¢ So¢ial Return on InvestLntnt of £13.87 for every £1 invested, helpittg 174 btudots who ellroll¢d
on LCA courses of whith 39Q/o gained employment.
Going forward the LCA plans to increas¢ and develop irs offer by extending Cours￿ to include site experien￿.
