Over the past year. our Gharity has made signfvnt progress in tulfiling its mission of collecting 8nd
distnbuting zakat to those in need, both in Bangladesh and beyond. Our efft)rts have focused on pioviding
essential financrdl assistance, supporting small projects, and colLaboratino wth other charitable
Organ￿allons to maximvze our impact.
Zakat Distribution
We have Successful￿ provided zakat funds to needy indiwduals and familiès in Bangladesh. Thèse funds
have been used to support..

Trustees. responsibilities
The trustees of Abdul Kadir Foundab'on, are responsible for preparing Ihe Trustees. Annual Report
and the financial ststements in accordance wilh Charibes Act 2011.
Law applicable to Charities in England and Wales requires the trustees to prepare accounts for each
financial year which give a true and lair view of Ihe state of affairs of the Charitys financial activth'es
during the year an¢J of ts finanaal posib.on at the end of the year. In preparing thos$ a¢¢ounts, the
trustees are required to..
-select suitable accounting policies and Ihen apply them consistenUy',
-make judgements and esbmates that are reasonable and prudent.,
-state whelher applicable accounb'ng standards and siatements of recommended practicE have been
followed. subject lo any departures disdosed and explained in the accounts.. and
-prepare the accounts on the going ¢on¢em ba*$ unless rt is appropriate lo presume that the Charity
will continuè in bu$iness.
The trusteès arè responsible for maintaining proper accounting records which disclose with
reasonable accuracy at any ts'me the finarrial position of Ihe Charity and to enable them to ensure
that the accounts comply with the Charibes Act 2011. They are also responsible for safeguarding the
assets of the Charty and hence for taking reasonable steps for the wevenbon arKI detection of fraud
and other irregularities.
