Charitable purpose

Activities

Our activities are all about inspiring the children. youth and believers and encouraging their development in spiritual faith and high moral values. Activities include prayer meetings, Christian conferences, youth meetings, and many more.

Activities in detail:

Annual General Meeting.

The Annual General Meeting of the Church was held on 12/04/2024.

Sunday Worship

Arise Christian Fellowship is a Malayalam fellowship of about 25 people (including children) mainly working in various service sectors and their families from India. We meet every Sunday morning from 10 AM to 1 PM at Arise Christian Fellowship Church for worship. Where we have an attendance of about 25 people including children. We rent a church for Sunday usage only.

Sunday school:

Every Sunday morning, we begin our activities with our children studying the Bible from 9 to 10.00 AM. We have divided the children into three classes according to their age. All our teachers are DBS checked as they are mainly medical professionals working in the public and private sectors.

Youth Meeting and Bible Study

Every second Sunday, we have a youth meeting where we rent the hall at Aylesbury Vale Multicultural Center specifically designed to motivate and encourage young talents. We take time to have this session for special programs such as children's worship, singing, and memorizing storytelling. etc Also as part of encouraging and giving more attention to youngsters.

Annual Youth Meeting Anniversary

Every year in December, we hold a youth meeting anniversary spending the whole day where the children and adults perform different programs, and we appreciate the kids with gifts for doing well in their annual Sunday school exams.

Ladies Meeting:

The ladies of our church gather weekly online over the Zoom platform to pray and encourage each other

Intercessory prayer:

Every Wednesday we have a prayer meeting at various homes of our church believers.

Fasting prayer:

Every month we conduct a 3-day fasting prayer for spiritual growth. During these meetings, we invite other guest ministers to preach the word of God. In addition to this. every year during school holidays we dedicate one week to fasting and prayer.

Church Council

The church council consists of four members who are elected by the general body. The church accounts are handled by the treasurer. The accounts are checked by our auditor. The audited accounts statement is enclosed for your reference.

I report on the receipt and payment accounts for the year ended 31[st] December 2024 set out in pages 8 & 9

The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993(the 1993 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.

Basis of the independent examiner’s report:

My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes

consideration of any unusual items of disclosure in the accounts and seeking explanations from the Trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair view' and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statements above.

Financial Review
