Trustees’ Report – Financial Year 2024
Charity No.: 1205248
The Trustees of Siluvai Media present their annual report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024 and confirm that they comply with the requirements of the Charities Act 1993, as amended by the Charities Act 2006, the trust deed, and the Charities SORP 2005.
Our Objects
The object of the CIO is, for the public benefit, the advancement of the Christian faith and the worship of God in the United Kingdom and overseas — in particular, but without limitation — through the provision of a media channel to distribute Christian literature and teachings predominantly in the Tamil language.
Our Charity Activities
The charity’s primary activities are carried out by supporting the local church.
During the financial year 2024, the charity’s efforts also supported the activities of the local Church of New Cannan in Pinner, contributing net receipts of £21,042 .
Looking forward, the objectives for 2025 remain consistent with those of the 2024 financial year, with plans to build upon existing outreach and partnerships to further the impact of our mission.
Collaborations and Community Impact
In the subsequent year, the charity expanded its outreach by engaging in charitable activities in partnership with World Vision Sri Lanka . This collaboration enabled Siluvai Media to extend its support to communities overseas, offering both spiritual and practical aid where it was most needed.
Through these initiatives, Siluvai Media has continued to play a meaningful role in uplifting lives and fostering Christian fellowship within the community and beyond.
Conclusion
The trustees are deeply grateful for the blessings and opportunities that have allowed Siluvai Media to make a significant contribution to the community through faith-based service and media outreach. Guided by the hand of God, the charity has remained steadfast in its mission to spread the Gospel, support Christian teaching, and inspire positive change both locally and internationally.
As we look ahead, we do so with renewed faith and commitment. The trustees intend to continue broadening the scope of our charitable work, seeking new opportunities to serve and strengthen communities in alignment with our Christian values. With God’s grace, Siluvai Media will remain a channel of hope, compassion, and spiritual growth in the coming year and beyond.
