**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES AND THE CANONS OF THE GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES, PUBLIC CELEBRATIONS OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS, PRODUCING AND/OR DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE ON THE GREEK ORTHODOX RELIGION AND PASTORAL CARE IN THE COMMUNITY.

**Activities:** The Community professes the Orthodox Christian Faith, as expressed in the continuing living Holy Tradition of the Orthodox Church and more especially in the Holy Scriptures and the dogmatic decrees of the Seven Ecumenical Councils, with nothing added and nothing taken away. The Community uses the Liturgy of St John Chrysostom and other services of the Byzantine Rite mainly in Greek and English.
