The Memorial will provide a long overdue focus of the Regiment's history. Its large number of battle honours will help illustrate and enhance the publi reputation it has achleved and from which it will be remembered. The Memorial is located at the NMA and is available for all those visiting to see, read about and understand the history of the Gloucestershire Regiment and its place in the history of the country. Other Achievements and Performance j Having started with no funds at all it has been extremely praiseworthy to be able to have accumulated sufficient funds from donations in order to design, plan and erect a Memorial at the NMA within 2 years. The Memorial was dedicated in September 2024 at the NMA with some 300 plus individuals attending the unveiling. It was unveiled by HRH The Duke of Gloucester. The ceremony was widely broadcast locally and nationally by the press and TV. A$ part of the benefit to the wider public a QR code was attached to the Memorial so that current and future visitors to the NMA can link into the Regimental Museum and other Re imental websites.
